Dream Come True for Apple Fans After 17 Years of Waiting

Introduction

Finally, the wait is over for the Apple fans! After waiting nearly two decades, Apple has officially added the most awaited feature to the newly launched iPhone 16 boasting iOS 18.

For most of the fans, this is the most surreal moment of their lives, where they already stopped dreaming of this one video feature. However, Apple has finally listened to their loyal customer base and added the most logical button to the video recording application.

iPhone 16 Latest Feature

The new iPhone 16 is a powerhouse of new features that excites the customer. From enhanced display customization to better call recording and transcription capability, iOS 18 has everything that can make the customer jump with excitement and purchase it.

Even Siri can now edit the images, send them directly to a contact number saved in the address book, or share notes in an email. This all can happen with a simple voice prompt.

But this isn’t the most hyped update of the iPhone 16. After 17 years of waiting, Apple officially introduced a pause button to record a video.
For many people, this was the biggest annoyance when recording videos in chunks. Even though some users advocated that there is no need to have a pause button when recording a video, they can record a new one instead.

But this was a ridiculous notion for thousands of Apple users. There was no logic in recording videos and memorable moments in small pieces. Like for instance, you want to capture a few moments of an event with small intervals. However, till the iPhone 15, users had to record separate video clips, making them annoyed.

But Apple has now officially integrated this new pause feature, where the users can continue recording the videos at intervals without making hundreds of videos.

Reaction of Apple Customers

Android and iOS have been rivals for ages. Android users are seen mocking Apple users on different features, new for iOS but old for Android users. However, nothing has stopped Apple users; their loyalty has always been at the top.

But the lack of a pause button in video recording has annoyed the user for years. An iPhone user sharing their memories and annoyance wrote on a social media platform that their basic Nokia 6233 phone for the early 2000s had the pause button for videos. When they switched to Sony Ericson in 2011, their first Android, too, had the same feature. However, the iPhone was the only brand that never considered integrating the pause button.

The absence of the pause button pushed the users to record small interval videos and get a wide gallery of separate video clips instead of getting a single one. And this was the known reality that no one had the time to edit all the clips and merge them as a single one.

While sharing the excitement of getting the most awaited feature in the iPhone 16, one user applauded the manufacturers for doing wonders and listening to the demands of the customers. Another one wrote that they believe Apple to be the only company that understands the sentiments of its customers and integrates features that matter to them.

A small tweak to the phone is making the masses happy and satisfied. Some iPhone users share their joy with new demands added to the feature. One user wrote that they are satisfied with the latest addition and prayed that Apple considers pause functionality to support the camera flip feature while recording a video in the future.

Another wrote that not only is the feature exciting, but the simplification of sending the video message through iMessage is changing the game for them. It gives a vibe of Snap and Facebook Messenger, making them happy about it.

However, some customers have mixed feelings, claiming Apple to be fashionably late to the technological revolution in the software department.
